Congratulations! You are by now, well into Square 1 of your Real Food REBOOT!
My hope is that you're over the hump and beginning to gain some momentum.
This week, I'd like to share an excerpt from "The China Study". This book is an incredible resource and for those of you who seek to understand optimal health, please do read.
Here is what the author, T.Collin Campbell says of his 6 decades of research-
"The scientific basis for my views is largely empirical, obtained through observation and measurement. It is not illusory, hypothetical, or anecdotal; it is from legitimate research findings. It is a type of science originally advocated 2,400 years ago by the Father of Medicine, Hippocrates, who said, "There are in effect, two things: to know and to believe one knows. To know is science. To believe one knows is ignorance." I plan to show you what I have come to know."
Through his 60+ career as an American biochemist who specializes in the effect of nutrition on long-term health, his wealth of knowledge is vast.
In the China Study, he conducted (along with a team) the largest and most comprehensive study on nutrition that has ever been done.
His findings are shocking, telling and motivating.
He says "The American people need to know the truth. They need to know what we have uncovered in his research."
He states " People need to know why we are unnecessarily sick, why too many of us die early despite the billions spend on research. The irony is that the solution is simple and inexpensive. The answer to the American health crisis is the food that each of us chooses to put in our mouths each day. It's as simple as that."

Dieting is confusion and overwhelming, typically ending in reverting back to your old, comfortable eating patterns. Real Food REBOOT is not a diet, I repeat, not a diet.
We are learning how to plan for, prepare and prosper from real food- one bite at a time, through the hard work of those like Dr. Campbell.
This mindset leads us on a journey towards lasting change.
